The Sherburne Fire Department is proud of members Peter Pudney, Dan Pudney, and Dan Welc for successfully completing the NYS EMT-Basic Certification.  After finishing the several months of classroom sessions and passing the practical skills exam all three members made the trek to Albany to participate in an "on-site scoring" exam.  The advantage of on-site scoring is that the student receives his/her grade immediately upon completion of the exam, and if he/she passes they are immediately issued an EMT card.  All three did very well on both the practical and written exams and we are proud to have three more volunteer EMTs to offer our community.
