At 0922 SFD was alerted on the initial box to respond with Smyrna Fire Department to a reported chimney fire on County Route 14.  Smyrna Chief Wynn (290) arrived to find a working fire contained to a traditional masonry style chimney.  284 arrived and went to work on the interior sector with Captain Jenkins leading the crew.  The fire was found to be seated on the base of the flu and was quickly extinguished by the 284 crew.  No extension was found and all units cleared within 45 minutes.
