At 0230 a mutual aid request was made for Sherburne's FAST team to the scene of a residential structure fire on Randallsville Road in the Hamilton Fire District.  While responding Hamilton Command advised 287 that they would be "going to work as the truck company" and an additional FAST team was called.  287 split the crew with Captain Casscles leading an interior crew to open up and perform horizontal vent work while Captain Jones lead a crew to place ground ladders and open the roof.  Despite an aggressive attack by HFD and strong truck work by 287 the deep seated fire in a large amount of fire wood stored in the basement, mixed with -10 degree temperatures caused the interior condition to deteriorate to the point that Hamilton Command ordered an exterior defensive attack,  287 repositioned and went to work as an elevated master stream knocking down the bulk of the fire while crews did overhaul work to extinguish the remaining hot spots.  286 was also requested late into the fire as other tankers on the scene iced up and were unable to continue hauling water. All Sherburne units were back in service at 0930
